The leadership of the City of Cranbrook is elected. These officials are where they are because of support from the community, so knowing how to best support their community is very important to them. The City of Cranbrook serves the public, so public’s input is valued during planning activities. Community groups
People in and around Cranbrook have already been teaming up because they know that big challenges are not something that can be tackled alone. If you want to make a difference in your community aren’t sure where to start, learn more about what community groups in Cranbrook are doing and maybe you will find an opportunity.
Getting involved is a great was to have an impact, learn new skills, and meet new people.

Sustainable Cranbrook recognizes that good information about climate change already exists, and that groups in the community are already taking action against climate change. Many of these community groups are working in isolation, and don’t have enough resources to manage public communications about the great things that they are doing. We at Sustainable Cranbrook are working on connecting our Cranbrook’s community groups with each other, and helping to promote the actions that are being taken.

Be an advocate.
By exploring this website, you have gained more of an understanding of climate change than most people. Use this knowledge to lead by example and inspire change in those around you. Share your newfound understanding with friends and work colleagues or even strangers and show them that taking action can make a difference.
